Christopher was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Public Law from Western Michigan University in 1997. He then moved to Colorado to take advantage of all the outdoor opportunities the Rocky Mountains provide. He attended the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law from 1999 - 2002 earning his Juris Doctor.

Christopher began his legal career as a Deputy District Attorney in 2003. During this time he handled all types of criminal cases from traffic offenses and DUIs to complicated felony matters including sexual offenses and homicides. He has conducted over 100 felony and misdemeanor jury trials ranging from DUIs to first degree murder.

 

He was involved in training local law enforcement in areas including criminal investigations, courtroom testimony, legal updates, and search and seizure. Throughout his time as a prosecutor, he was well-known for his commitment to cases, passion for helping people, attention to detail, and command of the courtroom.

In his free time, he takes advantage of the outdoor opportunities Colorado offers including hiking, camping, snowboarding and snowshoeing. He lives in Denver with his wife and dog.
